Dog Registration
Home > Our Services > Pets & Other Animals > Dogs & Cats > Dog Registration
Registering your dog helps protect pets, supports responsible ownership and keeps the community safe.
Dog registrations must be renewed by 31 August each year.
You will receive a renewal notice from the Council in late July. Please wait for this notice before registering your dog—this helps avoid duplicate records in the system.
How to register your dog
Use the Dogs and Cats Online (DACO) system:
Your renewal notice includes:
- A step-by-step flyer
- Electronic instructions are also available on the DACO website.
If you need help registering you dog online, contact the Council’s Citizen Services
You can also pay and register in person at the Norwood Town Hall or our Libraries
