Do you have a community activity you would like to promote?
The Community Noticeboard provides an avenue for local not-for-profit groups and community organisations to promote their community activities.
If your group or organisation is based within the Council area and would like to promote its activities or services, please read the guidelines below and complete the online Community Noticeboard Application Form
Community Noticeboard guidelines
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters reserves the right to accept or reject applications for notices to be included on the online Community Noticeboard based on community interest and the guidelines provided below.
You are welcome to submit your community activity if it:
- occurs within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters council area
- is open to the general public
- is socially inclusive.
Application procedure:
- all requests for display of notices on the online Community Noticeboard should be submitted using the Community Noticeboard Application Form
- applications must be received at least 2 weeks before the start date of the activity.
The application may be refused if it:
- could conflict with the Council’s values, policies or statutory responsibilities
- promotes a specific religious or political activity or belief
- has an administrative or governance focus (e.g. AGM, member meetings or board meetings)
- does not provide complete information, such as dates, times and venue
- does not promote the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters in a positive manner
- affects the Council’s reputation and public image negatively
- is offensive, abusive or racist
- promotes tobacco or alcohol use or distribution
- appears to only promote or advertise the services of a business or commercial enterprise
- is held outside the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters
- promotes private garage sales, regular school sporting activities, sporting events or home games etc.
The Council reserves the right to edit, decline or remove listings at its discretion.

VIEW Club Luncheon and guest speaker: Cressida O'Hanlon MP

The Adelaide Pioneer VIEW Club will hold its next lunch meeting on Tuesday 11 March at 10:50 AM for an 11:00 AM start, at The Kensi Hotel, Regent St, Kensington.
Our guest speaker will be Cressida O'Hanlon MP, the Member for Dunstan, who will share insights on her volunteer work in the community.

Payneham Probus Club - Friendship, fellowship and fun. Monthly meetings in a relaxed environment

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Our general meeting runs from 10.00am to 10.30am. We then have a break for refreshments from 10:30am until 11:00am.
A Guest Speaker or entertainment follows - 11:00am until 11:50am, then Q&A if needed.
The meeting concludes at 12.00 noon.
Members can then choose to meet for lunch at a local hotel.

The Payneham Senior Citizens (over 50’s) Club is a very friendly club which is open 3 days a week -Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 12.30-3.00pm
Come and play indoor bowls, cards, Rummikin or board games and make new friends.
We are happy to teach you, or you can introduce us to a game.

Marden RSPCA Op Shop Volunteers

The Marden RSPCA Op Shop has available shifts for volunteering on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm.
Our valued volunteers are at the core of our retail operations, and we are looking for dedicated and teachable individuals who are capable of:
- welcoming and assisting customers in store
- assisting with the general housekeeping and cleanliness of the store
- receiving, sorting and pricing donated goods in line with Op Shop policies and procedures
- handling cash and accurately processing purchases through the Point Of Sale system, and
- replenishing stock levels.
The tasks in our stores are not limited to just these, and there is always a variety of work to do. So, if this interests you and you like meeting new people and learning new skills, then we want to hear from you!
