Sessions suitable for young people of all skill levels. An opportunity to try something new and see if it's the right sport for you, or simply come along and have fun being active with friends.

Youth Arts & Events

The Canvas Youth Art & Events Project combines showcasing events with opportunities for young people to learn new skills and build links with industry in the areas of:

  • event management
  • music
  • short film
  • photography.

About

Elevate Radio is a radio broadcast training program that leaves participants with a toolbox of skills to launch them into a range of industries.

Applications are open twice a year to people aged 18 - 30 years who live, work or study in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.

This unique program is proudly brought to you by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters in conjunction with community radio station Three D Radio

Elevate Radio show is live to air every Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm (updated time slot) on Three D Radio.

You will:

  • have fun doing something you enjoy
  • have your voice heard by the community
  • get to share the music you enjoy
  • promote new and upcoming musicians.

You’ll gain hands-on mass media skills:

  • program preparation
  • live on-air presentation
  • technical production.

You’ll develop lifelong skills:

  • working in a team
  • problem solving
  • time management
  • communication.


Costs

There are costs involved for participants. Participants who live, work or study within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters have reduced fees.
