The Greek Orthodox Community and Parish of Prophet Elias Norwood and Eastern Suburbs Inc. is pleased to announce that the 2025 Norwood Greek Festival will be held on Saturday 22nd February 2025 in the church grounds at 87 Beulah Road, Norwood. This will be their 13th festival.

The Norwood Greek Festival is a unique event that has enjoyed great success in bringing the community together as a whole in an atmosphere of family fun and enjoyment.

Payneham Probus Club - Friendship, fellowship and fun. Monthly meetings in a relaxed environment

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

Our general meeting runs from 10.00am to 10.30am. We then have a break for refreshments from 10:30am until 11:00am.

A Guest Speaker or entertainment follows - 11:00am until 11:50am, then Q&A if needed.
The meeting concludes at 12.00 noon.

Members can then choose to meet for lunch at a local hotel.

Parents with 12-15 year olds: Participate in a study aiming to prevent youth vaping

The University of Newcastle are seeking parents and their adolescent (aged 12-15) to participate in a study together to test if text-messages are effective in preventing vaping in youth. The study is conducted online with no face-to-face participation required. Parents and adolescents located anywhere in Australia are welcome to participate.
