Pool Supervisor

Casual Adult Hourly Rate of $46.43 (includes 25% loading) + Statutory Superannuation
The Norwood Swimming Centre operates 7 days per week (excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday) over a 26-week swimming season from mid-October to mid-April 2026 with Learn-to-Swim lessons conducted throughout the swimming season.
The Pool Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Norwood Swimming Centre. This includes monitoring the conduct of staff and patrons, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining the safe, efficient operations of the Centre and assisting the Manager with administration duties.
The Role
Reporting to the Swimming Centre Manager, this role is responsible for supervising the pool operations and ensuring a safe swimming environment for the community. Applicants may also be offered Lifeguard positions to maximise opportunities.
To be successful in this position, you will be a pro-active individual who possesses the following:
• Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• Knowledge and understanding of the Royal Life Saving Society Australia Guidelines for Safe Pool Operation (GSPO)
• Knowledge of Emergency procedures and standards
• National Criminal History (Police) Clearance
• Department of Human Services Working with Children Clearance
• Oxygen Resuscitation Award is highly regarded
