Venue Hire Officer

Annual salary of $81,260.43 (Pro-rata to hours worked) + Statutory Superannuation
Part-Time (Thursday and Friday) Twelve (12) month fixed-term contract.
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is an inner eastern metropolitan Council, nestled on the outskirts of the CBD. The area enjoys a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most desirable places to live, work, study, and visit.
This exciting role provides customer service, administration and client management, to support all venue hire activities.
The Role
Reporting to the Norwood Concert Hall Coordinator, the Venue Hire Officer is a job-share role responsible for delivering customer service, administration, and client support for venue hire activities. The position also plays an active role in promoting the Council’s venue hire opportunities within the community to maximise usage.
Over the 12-month fixed-term contract, the Venue Hire Officer will contribute to developing and implementing administrative systems and processes that improve venue utilisation, streamline bookings, and enhance the overall customer experience.
About You
To be successful in this position you will be a pro-active individual with the ability to connect with others, think innovatively and contribute to a positive workplace culture. You will possess the following skills and experience:
• Experience in delivery of high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and using digital systems.
• The ability to efficiently organise and prioritise venue administration tasks and set objectives within available resources.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or similar government or administration role.
