An exhibition that explores how paint behaves once freed from the canvas. Through casting, layering and assembling, Katey uses the grid to stabilise and disrupt, allowing paint to take on a form of its own. The result is a series of works that sit somewhere between painting and sculpture, where material, structure and process meet.
