The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters holds monthly Council meetings. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Council meetings are only closed to the public when topics are of a confidential nature, such as an individual's financial circumstances, a particular staff member or legal matters.

Council meetings schedule

Council meetings are now held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, with the exception of the January meeting.

How to participate

Members of the public may express their views on specific issues before the Council in the following ways:

Deputations to the Council

With the written permission of the Mayor, a member of the public can address the Council or a Committee personally or on behalf of a group of residents, on any item relevant to the Council or that Committee.

Petitions

Written petitions can be addressed to the Council on any issue within the Council's jurisdiction.
