Single use plastics ban to roll out from 1 March
08/02/2021
From 1 March, single-use plastic straws, stirrers and cutlery will be prohibited from sale, supply or distribution in South Australia (exemptions apply).
The legislation has been developed to combat plastic waste ending up in our ocean and is the first of its kind in Australia.
