Norwood Swimming Centre

Casual Adult Hourly Rate of $43.05 + Statutory Superannuation (includes 25% loading).
The City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters owns and operates 2 outdoor swimming facilities, the Norwood Swimming Centre, located in Kensington and the Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre, located in Felixstow.
While the Felixstow Centre is under construction, the Norwood Simming Centre operates 7 days per week (excluding Christmas Day) over a 26-week swimming season from mid-October to mid-April 2024 with Learn-to-Swim lessons conducted throughout the swimming season.
The Role
Reporting to the Swimming Centre Manager, this role is responsible for supervising the pool operations and ensuring a safe swimming environment for the community.
To be successful in this position you will be an enthusiastic individual, who is goal-oriented and dedicated to the delivery of outcomes and possess the following:
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent
• Provide First Aid & CPR Certificate
• National Criminal History (Police) Clearance
• Department of Human Services Working with Children Clearance
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate is highly regarded
• Previous experience as a Lifeguard is highly regarded
